WHAT ARE COT BEDS?
baby bedding is simply a modification of cribs, only slightly bigger in size when compared to a standard cot. Since cot bedding are bigger, they last you for a longer time and can be used even when, your child has outgrown a typical crib. Most nursery bedding last, until the child is 3-4 years of age. The cot beds require, special cot bedding, with large duvets and sheets, to fit the bed accordingly.
Cot beds ease the transition for a child from a small crib, to a junior bed and even to a regular bed. It can also put your mind at ease, so you don’t have to worry about your kids outgrowing your beds, or changing the baby bedding until they’re in school.
However most cot beds, don’t have drop sides. This can turn into a problem if you have to change the mattress orientation or if you want to take your baby out or put him/ her back in.
Despite being a little more expensive than a bassinet, this long time investment should find its place in your nursery.
